365 PROJECT - 3 THINGS


Last summer I was inspired by Neil Pasricha's Ted Talk 'The 3 A's of Awesome' to start jotting down three things that I was grateful for each day. It sounds a little cheesy, but it really worked for me and helped me start each day with a really positive mindset. I don't know about you guys, but my brain definitely has a tendency to focus on the negative if I don't steer it in the other direction!

It's such a 'blogger' cliche to do a 365 project, I know. I've not done one before, but I have been feeling quite inspired by other people's personal challenges for 2013. So, this year I'm doing my own project to see how far I get. It's super simple - using the Nostalgio app to combine 3 photos of things I'm grateful for that day - posting some on Instagram with the hashtag #3things, some on here and some just for me. The best thing about this challenge is that once you get past the obvious things to be thankful for (family, pets, boyfriend etc) you have to look a little harder and really appreciate the little things that are making your day.
